Special Effects

Good morning (actually, afternoon) on this Good Friday, April 10, 2020.  I have to agree, yes, it is a good Friday if you woke up and are reading this. It means you are still here to see another scene in this ever developing epic movie.  How will it end?  Who will be the hero?  Who will be the loser? Have we come to the climax yet? I’m am getting my popcorn waiting for the ending. Will there be a surprise twist? Stay tuned folks.  Updates daily via CNN.

So, I lied a few days ago and said I would be posting more to the Throwing Fire Into the Water story.   In answering messages, with another WP user, I realized I haven’t been very creative in the writing department since my friend died.  I guess there is just no drama in my life anymore and you know, I really dig it. So, I just couldn’t make anything work, so I will let it mellow for a bit and figure out how to post it all in one place when it is all finished.  Just not ready to throw the last of it out there yet, hopefully, the world events will get the wheels turning again.

So, I mentioned I have been picking old cards randomly and posting stuff that I had not posted before, possibly, as I am not reopening their respective folders on the computer.  Usually, after I take photos, I take the card out, download a few, save them in a folder to edit and then share or whatever and then put the card back in the camera.  I knew I wanted to do something with them, like use them with the blog.  So, I guess, now is the time to break them out of storage before something happens to them.  I have spilled coffee on several and I had picked out one and had to abort as that one was damaged.  Now,  I will review the cards first to see if I can open them and then pull random items from them. This morning before hubby left I had him pick out one and I picked one.  The first card was a good one.  I’ll just share this one video.  I committed a major faux pas, you can hear me singing along.  What can I say, this is a great song, Love Don’t Live Here Anymore performed by Lady Antebellum along with Darius Rucker from Hootie & the Blowfish. Also, I only caught part of this song because I was so excited about going to the concert that I forgot the new SD card back at the hotel and had an almost full card in my camera that I had to use, so I was busy deleting old stuff so I could get a few things to remember from that night.  Also, on this card is Country Nation recorded on 8/3/18 and JBLZ at Fantasy Springs Unfortunately, many of those originals were deleted.  Hopefully, I saved some good ones in the folders on my computer.  I saved a few hundred from each show and have been going through to see what sticks out. Anyhow, August 2018 was a great month of entertainment through out California. To any and all performers, if you play in a stadium or a coffee shop, if I am there to see you perform, I will cheer you on like you the star that you are. Period. When this is all over you bet I will be dragging my hubby back out there.  Sorry hubby!

Here are a few of the highlights from the card picked below.

Thank you for stopping by. Hope I was able to provide a little break in your day or perhaps some bathroom reading or whateva’. Hugs to those needing one…

Good morning from the other side of the globe! I watched the clip till the end. It’s cool!

Anyway, writings, photos, and videos are like wines. The older the better. Give them two or three more years, your concert photos are gonna be collector’s items πŸ˜€

    Have a great day!

  2. I just saw this post. I don’t think so, they are not good enough, at least not in the Coachella Valley. πŸ™‚ I am just not Coachella Valley good or maybe just not good period. I have applied to many places and have only been able to get volunteer work which I happily take. It is so hard though not driving and trying to get hubby to take me places. I must get better acquainted with our public transportation so I can have more freedom. Anyhow, have a great day and I hope you are doing well πŸ™‚ Sorry to vent.
