Good morning world! You made it to see another day and that is a fabulous thing. Today is March 7, 2022 and my fifty-second year on this planet we call Earth. Many notable things happened today. I was going to list a few but it seems that this day has many notable historically significant events that have occurred. In 1965, future US Senator, John Lewis, marched across the Edmond Pettus Bridge with fellow voting rights protestors. Sadly, they were met by the state troupers and sheriff’s. That day is known as Bloody Sunday. In 1878, Alexander Graham Bell received a patent for his invention, the telephone. Also, many battles started on this day, there are just too many to list but here is the article about the events of this day in history. I linked the History Channel article. If you celebrate the anniversary of your entrance to the world today, then Happy Birthday to you!
Today, I am 52 or 25 if I wanna be silly. Sometimes though, I feel like I did at 25 but this body of mine does not. I love it all though, the aches, the pain, the gray hair the wrinkles and all that **&^$$#!@* small print!!! Guess what? I am a member of AARP and I have not met an early bird special that I have not liked. You see, I know that life changes quickly and one moment you are here and then the next it is gone. Me? I am going to plan on enjoying every moment that I can. You know what I need? A little music to go along with these photos. This is the Magic Numbers and a song that they wrote many years ago and one of my favorites.
So much has happened in the last 52 years. I graduated from Duarte High School as a single, unwed parent.
It seems that was I always trying to get an artsy fartsy shot, even back then.
This was fun, it took way more than the 15 minutes I usually allow myself to write a post. It has been hard getting to my desk lately because of CES issues but I am starting to feel better. Oh heck, here are a few more that I love…
Thank you, dear reader for visiting, I hope to see you around these parts again. May you have a peaceful day. Where ever you are going today, may you get there safely. Hugs to you and you and especially all you March 7 babies.
